We smile with our eyes, talk through our skilled hands and give warmth through our hearts.
Registered massage therapy is either a stand-alone or supplementary therapy for a myriad of conditions such as neck and/or back pain, muscle spasms, headaches, arthritis, pre/postnatal (dis)comfort, and sports injuries. RMT can also be a stress-relieving, relaxing treatment. Our RMT’s are registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and as such, we issue insurance receipts for the service.
A unique massage modality incorporating yogic stretching, acupressure, reflexology, traction and compressions to alleviate blocked energy and reactive the body’ Sen lines (i.e., energetic pathways) to increase circulation and ease tension. Thai Massage allows the receiver to experience the benefits of Yoga without having to lift a finger. Unlike other massage modalities, the receiver is comfortably clothed and rests on a mat while the masseuse moves around the client to access a wide range of angles over each part of the body. The masseuse employs a sequence of movements designed to promote physical and mental alignment, openness and flexibility, and creates space for mental and inner-peace.
Founded over 2500 years ago in Northern India, Thai Massage has endured the test of time. It’s harmonizing and healing effects are particularly beneficial during the pandemic, when many of us have felt a physical and mental disconnect, stagnation and experienced stress or disruption to our lifestyles, moods, and physical range of motion.
